SandRidge Energy

SandRidge Energy, Inc. seeks to form community partnerships with non-profit programs that reflect a true dedication to the populations they serve. Specifically, SandRidge looks for those organizations that take an active and innovative approach to meeting the needs of the community. Our company supports providers and programs that are responsive, financially transparent and results-oriented.

Child Advocacy
When it comes to serving communities, SandRidge places its primary focus on child advocacy efforts. We support a variety of initiatives and organizations that further the health/wellness, education and well being of children. Two prime examples: SandRidge assists the Fort Stockton, Texas, public school system and supports White Fields, a community-style boy’s home in Oklahoma.

We are currently working with the Superintendent of the Fort Stockton Independent School District (FSISD) to plan several school beautification projects and to replace deteriorating playground equipment. SandRidge also provides funding for teaching excellence awards at FSISD and for scholarships at the William Regional Technical Training Center in Fort Stockton. Additional projects are planned to support the FSISD and the city of Fort Stockton.

About White Fields
Founded in 2000, White Fields provides a safe, long-term home for severely abused and neglected boys who are in the care of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services Child Welfare Division. Our 140-acre campus provides residential, recreational and educational facilities.

Using a continuum of care model, White Fields helps 8- to 18-year-old boys regain their ability to trust, heal emotionally, broaden relationships and develop into adulthood. Their unique model offers various levels of care in a home-like setting, providing the boys the sense of belonging and security that every child needs to thrive and eventually become productive members of society.

SandRidge Energy is actively looking for collaborative initiatives designed to serve the needs of White Fields’ residents. For instance, SandRidge is currently working with the Oklahoma City Museum of Art and the Orchestra League to make both art and music accessible to these children.
